The Fugitive
1963-1967 | Thriller | USA | Created by Roy Huggins
Overview
Richard Kimble, wrongly convicted, hunts the one armed man while Lieutenant Gerard hunts him. The episodic chase with serialized longing, David Janssen weariness as format. The 1967 finale drew a then record 45.7 percent of American households, the first drama finale treated as a national event. The wronged man template, still running. The Harrison Ford film came in 1993.
