Mission Impossible
1966-1973 | Thriller | USA | Created by Bruce Geller
Overview
The tape self destructs and the IMF team cons dictators and syndicates with clockwork capers. The Geller format: the plan montage, the masks, the ticking clock, and no star above the ensemble. The Lalo Schifrin theme in burning 5/4 time is tv music royalty. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: watch the originals.
