Alfred Hitchcock Presents
1955-1962 | Thriller | USA | Created by Alfred Hitchcock
Overview
The Master of Suspense hosted, drew his own profile, and delivered ghoulishly deadpan introductions censored for sponsor comfort. Half hours of murder and irony from top writers, Roald Dahl among them. Seven seasons, then The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Good evening. Anthology suspense as a brand, hosted by the most recognizable silhouette in film.
