Rawhide
1959-1966 | Western | USA | Created by Charles Marquis Warren
Overview
Head em up, move em out. Cattle drives from San Antonio to Sedalia, with Eric Fleming as trail boss and an unknown Clint Eastwood as ramrod Rowdy Yates. Eight seasons and over 200 episodes made it one of televisions longest westerns, and it taught Eastwood restraint on camera. Theme song more famous than most shows. The spaghetti western began here, indirectly.
