The Simpsons
1989-present | Animation | USA | Created by Matt Groening
Overview
Springfield, a yellow family, and the slow decline of Homer into legend. Groening and James L. Brooks launched the first prime time animated family since the Flintstones, then the defining comedy of the 1990s: 700 plus episodes and counting. The early decade run sits on every best comedy list. Doh entered the dictionary. Do it for her. Cultural saturation total and permanent.
