Starsky and Hutch
1975-1979 | Crime | USA | Created by William Blinn
Overview
Two plainclothes cops in Bay City: one intense, one blond, one Ford Torino with a white stripe. The buddy cop template for television, with Huggy Bear as the street informant. Criticized then for violence, celebrated now for the chemistry. David Soul sang a UK number one off the back of it. The strip on the Torino became a character.
