Scooby-Doo Where Are You
1969-1970 | Animation | USA | Created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears
Overview
Four teens and a Great Dane solve mysteries that always end with a rubber mask pulled off a land developer. The formula is the point: splitting up, snacks, and ghosts that turn out to be greed. The laugh track casio score and canned pop chase songs became generational memory. Spawned a 50 year franchise. Those meddlesome kids entered the language.
