Pokemon
1997-present | Animation | Japan | Created by Satoshi Tajiri
Overview
Ash and Pikachu travel the world catching creatures and learning friendship, based on Satoshi Tajiris Game Boy games about bug collecting. The seizures incident briefly banned it, and then nothing could stop it. The most successful media franchise in history: games, cards, films, and a theme song everyone under 40 can still sing. 25 years of the same gentle formula. Gotta catch em all.
