Bewitched
1964-1972 | Fantasy | USA | Created by Sol Saks
Overview
Samantha twitches her nose and rewrites suburbia; her mortal husband Darrin panics about it for eight seasons. Elizabeth Montgomery carried the show through two Darrins, an swap the audience famously forgave. Endora versus Darrin was the engine, witchcraft as in law comedy. Spawned Tabitha and a whole genre of domestic magic. Nixon watched it, allegedly.
