The Addams Family
1964-1966 | Comedy | USA | Created by David Levy, from Charles Addams
Overview
Gomez, Morticia, Lurch, Thing, and Uncle Fester, the loving family next door if the door creaked. Built from Charles Addams New Yorker cartoons, it ran two seasons against the similar Munsters and lost the ratings war but won the afterlife. Vic Mizzys harpsichord theme is a universal snap along. The healthiest marriage on 1960s television, no contest.
