Sex and the City
1998-2004 | Comedy | USA | Created by Darren Star, from Candace Bushnell
Overview
Four New York women, a sex column, cosmos, and friendship as the real romance. Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie, from the Candace Bushnell columns. Six seasons, HBO comedy as a female gaze event: the show talked female desire plainly where network tv could not. Mr Big, the shoes, two films. The brunch comedy of manners. And just like that, it reruns forever.
