Hogans Heroes
1965-1971 | Comedy | USA | Created by Bernard Fein and Albert Ruddy
Overview
Allied POWs run a sabotage operation from inside a German prison camp, played as barracks farce. The premise still startles, and the cast included several actors who fled Nazi Europe, plus a survivor. Bob Crane as the infinitely scheming Hogan, Werner Klemperer as Klink, winning two Emmys for playing a fool. Ran six seasons and never explained itself.
