Hill Street Blues
1981-1987 | Drama | USA | Created by Steven Bochco and Michael Kozoll
Overview
An inner city precinct, overlapping storylines, handheld cameras, and roll call every dawn. Bochco serialized drama against network resistance, and a record streak of Best Drama Emmys followed. Let us be careful out there. The handheld realism and ensemble density rewired the hour drama. Every serious cop and city show descends from this address.
