Father Ted
1995-1998 | Comedy | Ireland | Created by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews
Overview
Three priests exiled to Craggy Island: Ted the schemer, Dougal the innocent, Jack the feral, and Mrs Doyle the tea tyrant. Linehan and Mathews wrote surreal Irish Catholic farce: My Lovely Horse, the milk float, the paranoid Christmas special. Dermot Morgan died after season three and the show stopped, perfect at twenty five episodes. Tea, Father? Go on, go on, go on. Global cult.
