Arrested Development
2003-2006 | Comedy | USA | Created by Mitchell Hurwitz
Overview
The Bluth family fortune collapses and the only sane son narrates the wreckage. Hurwitz layered jokes on jokes: callbacks, foreshadowing, the model home, the banana stand, a nevernude. Jason Bateman anchored a cast of fearless clowns. Three seasons on Fox won Emmys but not ratings. The 2013 revival invented the streaming event. There is always money in the banana stand.
